Associate Director of Quality and Clinical Governance

The Associate Director of Quality and Clinical Governance will work as an integral member of the Wren senior clinical and management team to develop, manage, and implement quality and clinical governance processes and have oversight of the delivery of safe and quality initiatives across the organisation and working closely with operations.

They will also work closely with the wider WEP Quality Management team on the development, management and implementation of the Global QMS.

This role requires in depth knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and quality relating to the areas of the business which Wren Healthcare operates. At all times the Director of Quality and Clinical Governance will promote excellent clinical leadership and governance. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.

Accountabilities and Activities

Develop the Global Wren quality management system to be fully integrated with the wider WEP QMS ensuring full compliance with appropriate governing bodies
Ensure compliance with the Global WEP QMS including processes, systems and procedures including SOPs, Deviations, CAPAs, Training and any other elements
Support senior managers in preparing and managing internal and external compliance assessments– e.g., CQC, UKAS (this needs to be global)
Host and provide support as required for all external audits
Ensure clinicians are working within their scope of practice.
Ensure that the services relating to clinical trials are in line and up to date with ICH-GCP principles and EMA.
Ensure CQC action plan is embedded across the clinical team and being delivered on.
Ensure organisation adheres to robust quality and clinical governance structures that support the provision of high-quality care with effective monitoring, reporting and learning.

Experience

Experience working within nursing clinical governance.
Certification of ICH-GCP and evidence of experience working to these principles.
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience of regulations required under the Care Quality Commission and equivalent global bodies.
