This 3 hour CPD accredited course is to train healthcare professionals and instructors in best resuscitation practice across adult, paediatric and newborn life support.

This basic life support training course aims to help teach staff a basic knowledge of first aid – covering CPR, recovery position, bleeding, choking and shock.

Our course offers many additional benefits, such as CPD eligibility and an ability to use your skills in practice.

Recovery Position
Bleeding – causes, control measures and risk limitation
Shock
Unconsciousness/head injuries
CPR Demonstration and practice D.R.S.A.B.C.
Choking – responding effectively and practical demonstration

Why is it Important?

Healthcare organisations have an obligation to provide a high-quality resuscitation service ensuring that staff are trained and updated regularly with appropriate frequency to a level of proficiency, basic life support training is appropriate to each individual’s expected role (Resuscitation Council, 2019).

Who can be trained?

All healthcare professionals and non-clinical staff across all settings. These can include either, those with existing knowledge looking to enhance their current understanding of Resuscitation and Anaphylaxis, or attendees looking to acquire Basic Life Support Training skills and practice them effectively.
