Provision of Training

Wren Healthcare Clinical Skills Academy offers theory-based training as well as classroom-based practical skills training. Please note that Wren Healthcare does not provide clinical sign-off or assess the practical competency of its learners. It is the responsibility of each learner to undergo competency assessment and receive sign-off from a qualified mentor with practical experience, taking into account the guidelines of accountability and delegation. Our training programs are CPD accredited and align with the latest guidance at the time of delivery.

Training Timings

During face-to-face training, it is important that all learners arrive promptly at the designated start time. Any attendees arriving after 45 minutes from the scheduled start time will be unable to join the session and will be turned away. Please note that late arrivals beyond the 45-minute mark will be unable to achieve the intended learning outcomes of the course.

When attending virtual training, it is essential that all participants join the session promptly at the designated start time. If a course is delayed by more than 45 minutes due to late participant arrival or technical difficulties, the training session will be cancelled, and the full charge will still apply. Please note that learners arriving after the 45-minute mark will be unable to achieve the intended learning outcomes of the course and will not be allowed to join the session.

For both face-to-face and virtual training, learners who miss more than 45 minutes of any training session will be classified as ‘Did Not Attend’ (DNA) and will not receive a certificate of attendance. Attendance for a sufficient duration is necessary to meet the requirements for certificate eligibility and ensure the achievement of intended learning outcomes.

Training Course Adjustments

After receiving your enquiry, we will assign an experienced educator specializing in the topic(s) you have selected to ensure the highest standard of training facilitation. Please note that making adjustments to the training course topics may not always be possible at short notice. If you require a change of topic, we kindly request that you provide a minimum of 15 working days’ notice. Please be aware that such a change may result in a different educator being assigned and a potential adjustment to the training date. We reserve the right to reject any requests for course adjustments.

The maximum number of learners for our training courses is 10, unless prior written permission is granted to accommodate a larger group. Any additional learners attending without authorisation will be subject to a charge of £45.00 per learner.

Intellectual Property

Wren Healthcare retains full ownership of all Intellectual Property Rights pertaining to the contents of the training courses. This includes, but is not limited to, training materials, presentations, handouts, and any other resources provided. The provided resources are accurate and up to date at the time of delivery, reflecting the latest knowledge and industry standards.

Equipment

Two days prior to the course commencement date, all necessary training equipment will be delivered to your site via courier. The equipment will be scheduled for collection the day after the training. Please ensure that the equipment is prepared and ready for collection at the designated time. Wren Healthcare will provide all necessary equipment in good working order. By signing and returning this form, you accept full responsibility for the safe storage and appropriate transfer of any equipment supplied by Wren Healthcare. You will be liable for the equipment throughout the duration it is under your care. Please note that any damage or loss of equipment will incur charges. Once the equipment is returned to Wren Healthcare, it will be thoroughly inspected for any damage or faults. In the event that any damage or faults are identified, you will be promptly notified.
