In response to the COVID-19 outbreak Wren Healthcare has collaborated with A4P Bio Logistics to offer a one-stop solution for CRO’s, sponsors and study sites to support the continuation of clinical trial studies through home nursing and direct-to-patient IMP and sample logistics. The setup time from concept to operation can be done in as little as 3 weeks.

Wren Healthcare’s home nursing support service takes the clinical trial to the patient by conducting home visits whilst A4p Bio Logistics manages shipments of IMP to patients.

Due to the current climate, it has become increasingly difficult for patients to attend study sites, and our homecare solution allows studies to continue by taking the trial to the patient. Using the home nursing service reduces the number of site visits for patients and helps maintain the retention of patients during a trial, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wren Healthcare has an experienced team of ICH-GCP qualified registered nurses with a sound cross therapy background within multiple specialities.

Their home nursing team can conduct a range of procedures in the patients home such as collecting blood samples to administering complex IMP via infusions.

About us

Wren Healthcare is a CQC registered specialist homecare nursing provider. We work with CRO’s, sponsors and study sites by conducting home visits to patients participating in clinical trials.

Our team of registered clinical homecare nurse specialists who have extensive cross therapy experience (trained in ICH-GCP) can undertake a variety of clinical tasks within the patients home to help maintain the continuation and adherence of clinical trial studies.
